After more than 22 years of community advocacy, Hollis Hodson is stepping forward as a candidate for Saanich Council.
In this introductory conversation with John Juricic, Hollis explains why she believes Saanich is at a crossroads—and why residents need representatives who will listen, collaborate and ensure community voices are heard.
Hollis has served as Chair of the Saanich Community Association Network, President of the Carey Area Residents Association and a member of Saanich’s Natural Areas, Parks and Trails Advisory Committee. Her community involvement has also included Hampton Little League, Scouts, school committees and the long-running effort to protect Panama Flats.
Her guiding principle is simple: ask residents what matters to them, listen carefully and work together to leave Saanich better than we found it.
